The sentence was announced by Joseph C. Murphy, Jr., Interim United States Attorney for the Western District of Tennessee, marking a conclusion to a case that has gripped the city since April 2024.

According to court documents, Sniezak began his spree of destruction with a smash-and-set at the Wolf River Surgery Center in Germantown. On April 5, 2024, he shattered several windows and ignited a fire that threatened the business’s survival.

The following week, on April 14, 2024, Sniezak returned to Cordova Cove, breaking into an office building and starting fires on multiple floors. The second-story blaze left a gaping hole in the structure.

Sniezak’s reign of terror came to an end as he pled guilty to arson in April 2025. United States District Judge Mark S. Norris handed down the sentence of 60 months, with three years of supervised release to follow.
