Sterling D. Gould, 38, of Belleville, Illinois, has been sentenced to 130 months in prison for his role in the armed robbery of a Domino’s Pizza in Belleville.
The sentencing took place on September 26 in federal district court in East St. Louis. In addition to his prison term, Gould will also serve 5 years of supervised release and has been ordered to pay $368 in restitution and a $300 special assessment.
Gould previously pled guilty to charges stemming from the July 12, 2015, armed robbery of the Domino’s Pizza location in Belleville. The case was a joint investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Belleville Police Department as part of the Metro East Armed Robbery Initiative.
The prosecution was handled by Assistant United States Attorney Daniel T. Kapsak. The sentencing is a significant step in bringing closure to the community and the victims of the armed robbery.
