BOSTON – In a chilling case of child exploitation, Jacob Guerrero, 27, from Woodland, Calif., has been sentenced to 16 years in federal prison for filming an 11-year-old girl changing in her bedroom and transporting child pornography.

“
Guerrero’s reign of terror began when he staked out the home of the Massachusetts girl for two weeks, taking notes on her daily routines. On March 17, 2021, he recorded the girl unclothed from his vantage point outside her second floor bedroom window.

The defendant had a twisted history of targeting minors, including filming several as young as eight years old in New Jersey during the summer of 2019. Guerrero pleaded guilty to these offenses in May 2025, adding to his previous charges.

“Guerrero is a deeply disturbed and dangerous man who devised a twisted plan to prey upon children,” said Ted E. Docks, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI, Boston Division. “He has forfeited his right to walk among us.”

The investigation into Guerrero’s activities was conducted by the Wrentham Police Department, with support from the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office and the U.S. Attorneys’ Offices. Assistant U.S. Attorney Mark Grady prosecuted the case as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to protect children from exploitation and abuse.
