Muhammad Adnan, Methamphetamine Distribution, Pennsylvania 2023

HARRISBURG, PA – The grim halls of justice were again echoed with the sound of a heavy sentence as Muhammad Adnan, 21, faced the music for his role in the local methamphetamine trade. On July 2, 2025, Adnan received a decade behind bars from Senior United States District Judge Malachy E. Mannion for drug trafficking.

Acting U.S. Attorney John C. Gurganus revealed that Adnan, along with three codefendants, were accused of pushing meth in Harrisburg between November 2023 and February 2024, in quantities of 50 grams or more. The defendant had already entered a guilty plea for distributing the illegal substance on February 27, 2025.

Urias Williams, another member of Adnan’s crew, also copped to his charges and awaits sentencing. Aaron Pitts is set to face trial on October 6, 2025, while Aaron Gambino remains a fugitive from justice.

This case was a product of a massive investigation that brought together the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Capital City Safe Streets Task Force, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Pennsylvania State Police, Dauphin County Drug Task Force, and Harrisburg Bureau of Police. Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael A. Consiglio led the prosecution.

Adnan’s sentence is part of Operation Take Back America, a sweeping nationwide effort to combat illegal immigration, dismantle cartels and transnational criminal organizations, and safeguard communities from violent crime. This initiative coordinates resources from the Department’s Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETFs) and Project Safe Neighborhood (PSN).

As always, it’s important to remember that all persons charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
