Hill Gets 16 Years for Exploiting 9-Year-Old

KANSAS CITY, MO – Jackie M. Hill, 39, of Kansas City, Missouri, will spend the next 16 years and eight months behind bars for the horrific exploitation of a 9-year-old child. Hill was sentenced today in federal court after pleading guilty to producing child pornography, a crime that stains the soul and destroys young lives.

According to court documents, Hill used a 9-year-old victim to create 21 images of child pornography on February 3, 2023. He didn’t stop there. Hill brazenly uploaded three of those images – including two of the child victim – to a website dedicated to the vile discussion and sharing of child sexual abuse material. This wasn’t a momentary lapse; it was a deliberate act of depravity.

The FBI cracked the case on April 12, 2023, executing a search warrant at Hill’s residence. What they found was sickening: a desktop computer, thumb drive, and cell phone brimming with thousands of images and videos depicting the sexual exploitation of minors. The devices contained pornographic material involving infants, toddlers, and other prepubescent children, painting a grim picture of Hill’s long-term obsession.

Prosecutors revealed that Hill had been involved in trafficking child pornography for at least eight years prior to his arrest, suggesting a deeply rooted and disturbing pattern of behavior. U.S. District Judge Howard F. Sachs didn’t mince words, sentencing Hill to a lengthy prison term without the possibility of parole. But the punishment doesn’t end there. Following his release, Hill will face a lifetime of supervised release and will be required to register as a sex offender, a mark he will carry for the rest of his days.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Kenneth W. Borgnino prosecuted the case, with the investigation led by the dedicated agents of the FBI. This prosecution was part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in 2006 by the Department of Justice to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse. The program aims to locate, apprehend, and prosecute predators like Hill, and to rescue the innocent victims they target.

This case serves as a stark reminder of the darkness that exists and the importance of vigilance in protecting our children. If you suspect child exploitation, report it immediately to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children or your local law enforcement agency.
