A woman from Wetzel County, West Virginia, has been sentenced to 79 months in prison for her role in distributing methamphetamine.
Holly Christine Jenkins, 58, of New Martinsville, pleaded guilty in December 2021 to one count of Distribution of Methamphetamine.
According to court documents, Jenkins admitted to selling methamphetamine in April 2021 in Wetzel County.
The case was investigated by the Marshall County Drug Task Force, a HIDTA-funded initiative.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Clayton J. Reid prosecuted the case on behalf of the government.
U.S. District Judge John Preston Bailey presided over the sentencing.
Jenkins’ sentence is the result of her guilty plea and admission to the crime.
The investigation and prosecution of Jenkins’ case highlights the ongoing efforts to combat the distribution of methamphetamine in West Virginia and across the country.
