Houma Man Convicted of Crack Distribution

A 36-year-old man from Houma, Louisiana, has been found guilty of distributing a quantity of cocaine base, also known as crack. Donald Richardson was convicted of the crime after a two-day trial in U.S. District Court.

According to court documents, Richardson was charged with two counts of distributing crack, with one count related to a March 17, 2011, incident and the other to a March 23, 2011, incident. A federal jury deliberated for a short time before returning a guilty verdict against Richardson for the March 23, 2011, distribution charge.
