NORFOLK, Va. – Isaac Deleon Nevares, 51, of Norfolk, was sentenced today to 216 months in prison for conspiracy to manufacture, distribute, and possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine, cocaine, and crack cocaine, and for possession and carrying firearms in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
According to court documents, Isaac Deleon Nevares pleaded guilty on June 5, 2015. ATF agents conducted a series of controlled purchases of cocaine, “crack” cocaine, and handguns from Anthony Tillman Quinones, whom Nevares supplied with drugs.
After executing search warrants on multiple residences involved in the drug-trafficking conspiracy, agents were led to an apartment Nevares used to store drugs. At the apartment, agents recovered over one kilogram of high-purity methamphetamine, 400 grams of cocaine, 270 grams of crack cocaine, two handguns, and a semiautomatic rifle. Nevares was arrested later that day in possession of another handgun.
Tillman Quinones, who was indicted with Nevares, pleaded guilty to drug trafficking conspiracy and firearms charges on May 19, 2015, and was sentenced to 156 months in prison on Oct. 16, 2015.

Smith, Special Agent in Charge of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives’ (ATF) Washington Field Division, made the announcement after sentencing by Chief U.S. District Judge Rebecca Beach Smith. Assistant U.S. Attorney Andrew C. Bosse prosecuted the case.
