Jafari J. Williams, Cocaine Trafficking, Florida 2026

PENSACOLA, FLORIDA – Jafari J. Williams, a 48-year-old resident of Pensacola, Florida, has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for his involvement in a conspiracy to distribute cocaine, possession of cocaine and methamphetamine with intent to distribute, and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Williams’ sentencing was announced by John P. Heekin, United States Attorney for the Northern District of Florida, who praised the collaboration between state and federal law enforcement agencies that dismantled the drug trafficking operation.

According to court documents, Williams was identified during a federal wiretap investigation as conspiring with others regarding shipments of cocaine coming from Texas. When a search warrant was executed on a building where Williams stored his contraband, law enforcement seized approximately seven and a half kilograms of cocaine, one kilogram of methamphetamine, drug distribution paraphernalia, an AR-15-style rifle, and approximately $10,000 in United States currency.

The investigation involved a joint effort by the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office, the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the Pensacola Police Department, the Gulf Breeze Police Department, and the Florida Highway Patrol.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys David L. Goldberg and Jessica S. Etherton. This case is part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative that aims to repel the invasion of illegal immigration, eliminate cartels and transnational criminal organizations, and protect communities from violent crime.

U.S. Attorney Heekin emphasized that his office will continue to target those who flood communities with deadly drugs and will deploy the full force of the law to keep communities safe.
