Jagger Levi Gordon, Methamphetamine Possession with Intent to Distribute, Oklahoma 2022

HENRYETTA, OK – Jagger Levi Gordon, 29, is headed to federal prison for nearly a decade after pleading guilty to possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute. Gordon received a 110-month sentence from Chief Judge Ronald A. White of the Eastern District of Oklahoma, a penalty handed down in Muskogee on Wednesday.

The bust originated from a call to Gordon’s Henryetta residence on March 8, 2021. Responding officers didn’t just find drugs; they uncovered a potential armory alongside the 20 grams of pure methamphetamine. Gordon admitted in court to possessing the significant quantity of meth, multiple firearms, and ammunition.

This wasn’t a simple possession case. Federal prosecutors, led by Assistant U.S. Attorney T. Cameron McEwen, successfully argued that Gordon intended to sell the methamphetamine. The investigation quickly broadened, drawing in multiple agencies including the Henryetta Police Department, the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Lighthorse Police Department, the FBI, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

The combined forces painted a picture of Gordon as more than just a user. The discovery of firearms alongside the drugs raised the stakes, suggesting a potential for violence linked to the operation. While specific details of the emergency call that initiated the search remain sealed, the quantity of methamphetamine points to a larger distribution network.

Gordon pleaded guilty on February 16, 2022, hoping for leniency, but Judge White wasn’t swayed. The 110-month sentence—over nine years—is non-parolable, meaning Gordon will serve the full term. He is currently in the custody of the U.S. Marshal awaiting transfer to a designated Bureau of Prisons facility.

The case underscores the continued federal focus on dismantling drug trafficking operations in Oklahoma. While local law enforcement initially responded to the incident, the involvement of federal agencies highlights the scale of the problem and the resources being deployed to combat it. The Eastern District of Oklahoma remains a key battleground in the ongoing war on drugs, and the Gordon sentencing serves as a stark warning to others involved in the illicit trade.
