A 47-year-old Burns, Wyoming resident has been found guilty of being a felon in possession of a firearm, according to the U.S. Attorney Christopher A. Crofts.
James Keith Beierle was convicted in federal court after a three-day jury trial in the U.S. District Court in Cheyenne.
The jury delivered its verdict on February 6, 2014. Beierle is scheduled to be sentenced by Chief Federal District Court Judge Freudenthal on April 17, 2014.
