Wyoming man sentenced for firearm possession
A Douglas man has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Daniel Lee Hutchinson, 54, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson on March 20, 2014, for the crime.
Hutchinson was arrested in Douglas, Wyoming.
He received 18 months imprisonment, to be followed by three years of supervised release, and was ordered to pay a $300.00 fine and a $100.00 special assessment.
This case was investigated by the Gillette Police Department, the U.S. Probation Office, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
Hutchinson’s crime is a serious one and a reminder of the dangers of firearm possession by felons.
