Pharmacist Charged with Stealing Prescription Drugs for Personal Use
A federal grand jury in Wichita, Kansas, returned an indictment charging Jason Lee, a 38-year-old pharmacist, with allegedly taking prescription drugs from his former employer for personal use.
Lee, who worked as a pharmacist at a local pharmacy in Wichita, is accused of stealing prescription medications, including oxycodone, hydrocodone, and alprazolam, worth thousands of dollars.
According to the indictment, Lee would allegedly take the prescription medications from the pharmacy’s inventory without a valid prescription and use them for his own personal use.
