A man from Marion, Iowa, has pleaded guilty to receiving over 600 images of child pornography.
Jeffrey Alan Bradley, 50, entered a guilty plea in federal court in Cedar Rapids.
According to court documents, between May 2020 and February 2022, Bradley received at least 600 visual depictions of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
The images included material portraying sadistic or masochistic conduct or other depictions of violence, as well as the sexual abuse or exploitation of an infant or toddler.
Law enforcement searched Bradley’s residence in February 2022 and recovered the child pornography.
The case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.
Bradley faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 5 years’ imprisonment and a possible maximum sentence of 20 years’ imprisonment, $40,100 in special assessments, a $250,000 fine, and a life of supervised release following any imprisonment.
Sentencing before United States District Court Chief Judge C.J. Williams will be set after a presentence report is prepared.
Bradley remains in custody of the United States Marshal pending sentencing.
