Jesse Roger Armstrong, Child Pornography, Florida 2025

Grimy Times has learned that Jesse Roger Armstrong, 35, of Gainesville, Florida, has been indicted in federal court for his involvement in a disturbing child pornography case.

Armstrong, who resides in Gainesville, Florida, stands accused of distributing and possessing child pornography, charges that could land him in prison for up to 40 years if he is convicted.

According to the indictment, Armstrong will make his initial appearance in federal court on July 29, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. before United States Magistrate Judge Midori Lowry at the United States Courthouse in Gainesville, Florida.

The investigation into Armstrong’s activities was led by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations and the Gainesville Police Department, with the assistance of Assistant United States Attorney Adam Hapner.

This case is part of an ongoing effort to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse, as part of Project Safe Childhood. This nationwide initiative was launched in May 2006 by the U.S. Attorney’s Offices and the Criminal Divisions Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section (CEOS) to better locate, apprehend, and prosecute individuals who exploit children via the Internet, as well as to identify and rescue victims.

Armstrong’s indictment is not evidence of guilt, and he will be presumed innocent until proven otherwise. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Florida will now proceed with the prosecution of Armstrong, who faces significant prison time if convicted.
