Stuart, Florida – German Oliver Jose Martin, 29, will spend the next 15 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to producing child pornography featuring a 15-year-old girl. The case, a grim reminder of the predators lurking in our communities, details a calculated act of exploitation that left a young victim traumatized.
According to court documents, Martin lured the victim from her school bus stop on May 26, 2022, and transported her to his trailer. There, he used a cell phone to record sexually explicit videos. The depravity didn’t stop there; Martin knowingly created and possessed images designed to further abuse and exploit the victim. The feds moved quickly after the footage was discovered.
A federal search warrant executed on Martin’s phone revealed the disturbing content, providing irrefutable evidence for the prosecution. Martin’s defense offered no substantial rebuttal. U.S. District Court Judge Robin L. Rosenberg sentenced him to 180 months (15 years) in prison on June 13, 2023, followed by 20 years of supervised release. The judge also ordered Martin to pay $3,000 in restitution to the victim, a small measure of recompense for the harm inflicted.
Beyond the prison sentence, Martin will be deported upon his release. Immigration officials have been notified and will ensure his removal from the United States.
