A Louisville man was handed a harsh sentence for his role in a shocking child exploitation case. Robert Razor, 57, was sentenced on June 3, 2025, to 20 years in federal prison for numerous child exploitation offenses.
According to court documents, Razor was sentenced to 20 years in federal prison, followed by 20 years of supervised release, for one count of attempted online enticement of a minor, one count of online enticement of a minor, one count of sexual exploitation of a minor, one count of receipt of child pornography, and one count of possession of child pornography.
The case was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), and Assistant U.S. Attorney Danielle M. Yannelli prosecuted the case. U.S. Attorney Kyle G. Bumgarner of the Western District of Kentucky made the announcement.
This case is part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse. The initiative marshals federal, state, and local resources to locate, apprehend, and prosecute individuals who sexually exploit children, and to identify and rescue victims.
