In a gritty display of law enforcement, Sergt E F Harris apprehended Jimmie McCloud at 11th and Pacific Avenue on Wednesday evening, March 15, 1939, at 10:30 p.m. McCloud, reportedly intoxicated and using profane language, was subsequently booked at the city jail on charges of being drunk and disorderly.
