ELKINS, WEST VIRGINIA – A 49-year-old Mexican national faces up to two years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 after allegedly reentering the country illegally.
Jose Catarino Feregrino-Resendez, a citizen of Mexico, was indicted by a federal grand jury in Elkins, West Virginia, for an immigration violation. U.S. Attorney Bill Powell announced the indictment on [date].
The indictment alleges that Feregrino-Resendez reentered the country in April 2019 in Harrison County, West Virginia, after being removed once before.
