Crack Cocaine Trafficking Plagues York, Pennsylvania

A 28-year-old man from York County, Pennsylvania, has been indicted on serious charges of crack cocaine trafficking and possession of a firearm as a previously convicted felon. According to the indictment, Jose M. Osorio, III, distributed crack cocaine on September 22, 2016 in York, Pennsylvania.

The indictment also alleges that on December 1, 2016, Osorio unlawfully possessed a .357 caliber revolver and ammunition as a previously convicted felon. This is a clear threat to public safety and demonstrates the need for continued efforts to combat violent crime in the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

The case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the York City Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Carlo D.
