McAlester Resident Pleads Guilty To Federal Drug And Firearm Charges
Muskogee, Oklahoma – Justin Leon Westbrook, 43, of McAlester, Oklahoma, has pleaded guilty to federal drug and firearm charges.
According to court documents, Westbrook knowingly and intentionally distributed 5 grams or more of methamphetamine (actual), a Schedule II controlled substance, on July 23, 2025.
The Indictment also charged Westbrook with knowingly possessing one semi-automatic pistol, serial number obliterated, on July 29, 2025, after having been previously convicted of a crime punishable by more than one year imprisonment.
The charges arose from an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
Westbrook will remain in the custody of the United States Marshals Service pending sentencing.
A U.S. District Court Judge will determine the sentence to be imposed after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Chuck Sullivan represented the United States.
Westbrook faces a minimum of five years and a maximum of 40 years in prison and a $5,000,000 fine for the Distribution of Methamphetamine charge. He also faces up to 15 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for the Felon in Possession of Firearm charge.
