Tifton Man Sentenced to 10 Years in Prison for Armed Fentanyl Trafficking
In a harsh crackdown on fentanyl distribution, a federal court has sentenced a 33-year-old Tifton man to 10 years in prison for armed fentanyl trafficking. Kabryen Sharrod Ross, aka “Juice,” was handed down the stiff sentence by Senior U.S. District Judge W. Louis Sands on April 2, 2025.
The defendant was previously charged with one count of distribution of fentanyl and one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime on July 30, 2025. He had pleaded guilty to these charges prior to the sentencing.
According to the U.S. Department of Justice, the defendant maintained an outdoor table where he sold heroin mixed with fentanyl. He also kept a burn barrel to quickly destroy any incriminating evidence if needed. In a bizarre twist, Ross offered discounts or trades for wood pallets to keep the fire burning, further highlighting the desperation of those involved in the illicit trade.
