Kabryen Sharrod Ross Sentenced for Armed Fentanyl Trafficking, Tifton GA, 2025
A Tifton, Georgia man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for armed fentanyl trafficking and possession of a firearm. Kabryen Sharrod Ross, aka ‘Juice’, 33, of Tifton, sold heroin mixed with fentanyl from an outdoor table, maintaining a burn barrel to quickly destroy drugs if needed and offering discounts or trades for wood pallets to keep the fire burning.
Ross was sentenced to serve 120 months in prison to be followed by five years of supervised release by Senior U.S. District Judge W. Louis Sands on April 2, after he previously pleaded guilty to one count of distribution of fentanyl and one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime on July 30, 2025.
The case against Ross was brought as part of the Department of Justice’s efforts to combat the opioid crisis and hold accountable those who are responsible for the distribution of deadly fentanyl.
Ross’s sentence serves as a reminder that the consequences for trafficking fentanyl and other deadly substances are severe and that law enforcement will continue to work tirelessly to disrupt and dismantle these operations.
According to the Department of Justice, fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that is 50-100 times more potent than morphine and has been responsible for thousands of overdose deaths across the country.
In addition to his prison sentence, Ross will also be subject to three years of supervised release, during which time he will be required to comply with certain conditions, including regular check-ins with his probation officer and submission to drug testing.
The case against Ross was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the Tifton Police Department.
The Department of Justice thanks the ATF and the Tifton Police Department for their tireless efforts in bringing this case to a successful conclusion.
