Kendrick Harvey, Assault, New Mexico 2024

An Arizona man has been convicted of a violent crime in New Mexico.

Kendrick Harvey, 36, an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation, was at the home of Jane Doe on September 16, 2024, when he assaulted her.

According to court documents, Harvey was intoxicated at the time of the assault, which resulted in serious bodily injury to Doe.

Harvey pleaded guilty to assault resulting in serious bodily injury, a charge that carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.

The Gallup Resident Agency of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Albuquerque Field Office, along with the Navajo Nation Police Department and Navajo Department of Criminal Investigations, investigated this case.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Amy Mondragon is prosecuting the case.

First Assistant U.S. Attorney Ryan Ellison and Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Albuquerque Field Office Justin A. Garris announced the plea today.
