United States Attorney Clint Johnson today dropped a bombshell as he announced the results of the July Federal Grand Jury 2025-A Indictments. Kennedy Antonio Ramirez Acosta, a 39-year-old Mexican national, is staring down the barrel of serious federal charges after being indicted for possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute.

Acosta’s case has garnered significant attention from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Dallas Field Office. The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office is also involved in this high-profile investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorney Tyson McCoy will be prosecuting this case, which carries a heavy sentence if Ramirez Acosta is found guilty.

According to court documents, the grand jury returned an indictment against Ramirez Acosta for 25-CR-239. This is a serious charge that could land him in prison for years. The stakes are high, and Ramirez Acosta will have to fight tooth and nail to prove his innocence in a court of law.

The July Federal Grand Jury 2025-A Indictments also included charges against Ventura Rivera Arteaga and Ruben Amadow Meza Medina. These two Mexican nationals are accused of conspiring to distribute fentanyl, possession with intent to distribute, unlawful reentry of a removed alien, and maintaining drug-involved premises. Assistant U.S. Attorney Mandy Mackenzie will be handling this complex case.

Elijah Lee Chandler Jr., 36, from Tulsa, faces his own set of charges. He is accused of attempting to possess more than 500 grams of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, and maintaining a drug-involved premise. Assistant U.S. Attorney David Nasar will be prosecuting this case.

Other notable indictments include Douglas Eugene Chaney for failure to register as a sex offender, Daniel Contreras-Martinez for unlawful reentry of a removed alien, Ramey Joe-Don Dill for failure to register as a sex offender, and Luis Flores-Rodriguez for possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. Each of these cases highlights the serious nature of federal charges and the ongoing efforts by law enforcement to crack down on drug trafficking and other criminal activities.
