Kevin Lawrence Jarrett, Methamphetamine Distribution, West Virginia 2022

A Detroit man has been brought to justice for his role in a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy in West Virginia.

A 32-year-old man known as ‘Six,’ whose real name is Kevin Lawrence Jarrett, was sentenced to 12 years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of ‘Distribution of Five Grams or More of Methamphetamine’ in July 2022.

The crime took place in August 2019 in Marion County, where Jarrett distributed more than five grams of methamphetamine, also known as ‘crystal’ and ‘ice.’

Assistant U.S. Attorney Brandon S. Flower prosecuted the case on behalf of the government, while the Three Rivers Drug Task Force investigated.

Chief U.S. District Judge Thomas S. Kleeh presided over the case.

Jarrett’s sentence of 151 months in prison is a significant blow to those involved in the methamphetamine trade in the region.

The case serves as a reminder of the ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking and bring perpetrators to justice.
