Kevin Ray Marcano, Methamphetamine Trafficking, Florida 2025

Jacksonville, FL – A notorious drug trafficker, Kevin Ray Marcano, 37, from Cambridge, MA, has been sentenced to 15 years and 8 months in federal prison for conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, specifically 500 grams or more of methamphetamine. Marcano’s guilty plea on April 22, 2025, marks the culmination of a massive investigation.

Marcano was caught after shipping multi-pound packages of methamphetamine across the country, including to a key customer in Jacksonville. From March 2022 to July 2023, he sent approximately five packages, each containing about 10 pounds of the drug, to this individual. In September 2023, Marcano facilitated another shipment of four pounds in exchange for $4,900, with the drugs arriving within days.

Assistant Special Agent in Charge Tim Hemker of Homeland Security Investigations Jacksonville commented on the impact of Marcano’s actions, stating, ‘This criminal was responsible for shipping large quantities of methamphetamine across the country, fueling addiction and poisoning communities.’ The successful dismantling of his nationwide narcotics distribution network is a testament to the hard work of HSI and FBI special agents.

The investigation into Marcano’s activities was led by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). Assistant United States Attorney Kelly S. Milliron prosecuted the case, ensuring justice for the communities affected by this drug trafficking operation.

Marcano’s sentence is a stark reminder of the consequences faced by those who engage in the illegal drug trade, and it underscores the ongoing efforts of law enforcement to protect citizens from the devastating effects of substance abuse.

The Grimy Times will continue to report on such significant cases, highlighting the relentless pursuit of justice and the unwavering commitment of law enforcement agencies to keep our communities safe.
