Kevin Weems, a 61-year-old resident of Albany, New York, was charged with a serious crime after being accused of unlawfully possessing a firearm as a felon.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) along with local law enforcement agencies executed a search warrant at Weems’s residence on an unknown date. During the search, agents discovered a loaded .38 caliber handgun in a boot, which is a serious offense.
Weems appeared in court before United States Magistrate Judge Daniel J. Stewart on an unknown date. He was subsequently ordered to be detained pending a hearing scheduled for March 8, 2021.
