Bucks County Man Convicted of Attempting to Meet Child for Sex

A 27-year-old man from Langhorne, Pennsylvania, has been convicted of attempting to meet an 11-year-old child for sex after an undercover investigation.

Kyle Paine was charged by Indictment in January 2020 with attempted enticement of a minor to engage in sexual conduct, attempted transfer of obscene material to a minor, and possession of child pornography.

The charges stem from Paine’s online communication in March 2019 with an undercover FBI agent, whom the defendant believed to be an 11-year-old child who would meet him for sex.

Paine also requested that the girl self-produce child pornography and send it to him, and sent her a sexually explicit image in an attempt to entice her to do so.

Acting United States Attorney Jennifer Arbittier Williams stated, ‘Paine’s child victimization is over.’

Bradley S. Benavides, Acting Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Philadelphia Division, added, ‘Not only did Kyle Paine amass images of child sexual abuse, he sought out sex with a child.’

This case is part of Project Safe Childhood, a program bringing together all levels of law enforcement and the communities they serve to reduce the sexual exploitation and abuse of children.

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Bensalem Police Department, and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Kelly Harrell.
