Kyle Stack, 40, Sentenced to 84 Months in Prison for Child Pornography
In a disturbing case, Kyle Stack, a 40-year-old Medina man, has been sentenced to 84 months in prison for possession of child pornography. U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced the sentencing, which was handed down by U.S. District Judge John L. Sinatra, Jr.
According to Assistant U.S. Attorney Charles M. Kruly, who handled the case, Stack was found to possess a cellular phone containing more than 4,000 images and videos of child pornography in July 2020. The disturbing content included prepubescent minors less than 12-years-old and images of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
In addition to the cellular phone, Stack was also found to possess a laptop containing more than 9,000 images and videos of child pornography. The sentencing is the result of an investigation by the New York State Police, under the direction of Major Amie Feroleto, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, under the direction of Special Agent-in-Charge Philip Tejera.
Stack’s conviction is a stark reminder of the severity of child pornography crimes and the importance of holding perpetrators accountable. The investigation and subsequent sentencing demonstrate the commitment of law enforcement agencies to protecting children and bringing perpetrators to justice.
The sentencing of Kyle Stack serves as a warning to those who engage in child pornography: the consequences are severe and the justice system will not hesitate to take action. As the investigation and sentencing of Stack demonstrate, child pornography is a serious crime that will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
