Kyle Stack, Possession of Child Pornography, New York 2020

BUFFALO, N.Y – A Medina man has been sentenced to prison for possessing child pornography involving prepubescent minors.

According to a recent court ruling, 40-year-old Kyle Stack of Medina, New York, was convicted of possession of child pornography involving prepubescent minors.

On July 2020, Stack possessed a cellular phone that contained over 4,000 images and videos of child pornography, including prepubescent minors less than 12 years old and images of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

In addition, Stack also possessed a laptop that contained more than 9,000 images and videos of child pornography.

The sentencing is the result of an investigation by the New York State Police, under the direction of Major Amie Feroleto, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, under the direction of Special Agent-in-Charge Philip Tejera.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Charles M. Kruly handled the case.

Kyle Stack was sentenced to 84 months in prison by U.S. District Judge John L. Sinatra, Jr.

The case highlights the importance of combating child pornography and holding perpetrators accountable for their crimes.

The New York State Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation will continue to work together to investigate and prosecute cases involving child pornography.
