HARRISBURG, PA – Kyree Ross, a 30-year-old Harrisburg resident, is facing serious charges after being indicted by a federal grand jury for his alleged involvement in a drug trafficking operation.
According to the indictment, Ross is accused of possessing with intent to distribute 28 grams of crack cocaine on November 30, 2024. He is also charged with possessing a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking and possessing a firearm with an obliterated serial number on the same date.
The indictment further alleges that Ross possessed a firearm and ammunition as a convicted felon, a charge that carries significant penalties. The case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Harrisburg Bureau of Police, and the Pennsylvania State Police.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Scott Ford is prosecuting the case, which is part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative aimed at combating cartels and transnational criminal organizations.
Ross faces a maximum penalty of life imprisonment, a term of supervised release following imprisonment, and a fine. A sentence following a finding of guilt is imposed by the Judge after consideration of the applicable federal sentencing statutes and the Federal Sentencing Guidelines.
