Willie Frank Hicks Jr, Methamphetamine Distribution, Florida 2025

Willie Frank Hicks, Jr., a 42-year-old resident of Madison, FL, has been slapped with federal charges for distributing methamphetamine. This grim development was announced by John P. Heekin, the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Florida.

Hicks’ arraignment is set to take place on August 12, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., before United States Magistrate Judge Martin A. Fitzpatrick in Tallahassee. If convicted, Hicks faces a minimum sentence of 10 years’ imprisonment, with the potential for a life sentence.

The investigation into this case was jointly conducted by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Madison County Sheriff’s Office. Assistant United States Attorney Eric K. Mountin is leading the prosecution.

According to the justice system, an indictment is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
