Muskogee, Oklahoma – A disturbing case of child exploitation has come to light, with 42-year-old Marcus Wayne Hall pleading guilty to Possession of Certain Material Involving the Sexual Exploitation of Minors.
The charges arose from an investigation by the Colorado Springs Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, with Hall being indicted in June 2013.
According to the indictment, between November 2011 and March 1, 2012, Hall knowingly possessed and attempted to possess matters containing visual depictions of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
The Honorable Kimberly E. West, Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, accepted Hall’s guilty plea and ordered the completion of a presentence report.
Sentencing will be scheduled following the completion of the report, with Hall remaining in the custody of the United States Marshal Service pending sentencing.
