Law Enforcement Agencies to Receive Forfeiture Proceeds in Jacksonville
In a significant move to support law enforcement efforts, U.S. Attorney Maria Chapa Lopez and HSI Special Agent in Charge James C. Spero will present forfeiture proceeds to participating agencies on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at 2:00 P.M. EST.
The event will take place at the Department of Homeland Security/U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) located at 13077 Veveras Drive, Jacksonville, Florida 32258.
According to sources, the participating agencies include the Florida National Guard, Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, and Nassau County Sheriff’s Office.
Media representatives are invited to attend the open-press event, but must RSVP to Amy.Filjones@usdoj.gov by 10:00 a.m. on January 17th, and provide a government-issued photo I.D. and valid media credentials.
