Matthew Bair, Possessing Guns as a Felon, Pennsylvania 2026

A 36-year-old man from Windsor, Pennsylvania, has been slapped with federal charges for allegedly possessing guns as a convicted felon.

Matthew Bair, a resident of Windsor, was indicted on March 4, 2026, by a federal grand jury in the Middle District of Pennsylvania for unlawfully possessing firearms.

According to the indictment, Bair possessed an Aero Precision rifle and a Ruger pistol on February 28, 2025, in York County.

Law enforcement officials say the investigation was a collaborative effort between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Pennsylvania State Police.

Assistant United States Attorney Carlo D. Marchioli is leading the prosecution of the case.

Bair faces a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison, a term of supervised release, and a fine if convicted.
