CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA – In a shocking turn of events, Dylan Lee Hamrick, 23, of Belington, West Virginia, has pleaded guilty to drug and firearms offenses in federal court. The charges stem from his discovery in possession of methamphetamine and a shotgun with a barrel length of less than 18 inches in Randolph County, West Virginia, in November 2015.

According to documents, Hamrick was found in possession of the illicit substance and the firearm, which is a serious violation of federal laws. He has now admitted to his crimes and faces severe consequences.

Hamrick pled guilty to one count of ‘Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine’ and one count of ‘Possession of a Firearm with a Shortened Barrel.’ The former charge carries a sentence of up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $1,000,000, while the latter charge comes with a sentence of up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
