Celina Serva, a 27-year-old woman from Akron, Ohio, has pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine in Buffalo, New York. On April 3, 2025, law enforcement observed Serva’s vehicle arrive at a house known for drug activity, where she attempted to discard a bag containing 960 grams of methamphetamine. The incident occurred while four children and Serva’s mother were inside the vehicle.

Serva’s actions were thwarted by law enforcement, who executed a federal search warrant on the vehicle and recovered the methamphetamine. The case is part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative aimed at combating transnational criminal organizations and protecting communities from violent crime.

The investigation was led by the Drug Enforcement Administration, with assistance from the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force, the Jamestown Police Department, and the Ellicott Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael J. Adler is prosecuting the case, which is scheduled for sentencing on January 11, 2027.
