In a major blow to methamphetamine trafficking in Arkansas, Spencer Walker, a 37-year-old Pine Bluff man, has been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison. Walker was found guilty of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. The charges stem from a September 2022 operation in which the United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) intercepted two packages containing a total of 10 pounds of methamphetamine destined for Walker’s address.
Following the controlled delivery of the packages, law enforcement officers searched Walker’s residence and found an additional unopened package containing 10 pounds of methamphetamine, as well as a shotgun with a 25-round drum magazine in his bedroom. The evidence presented during the four-day jury trial, which concluded on September 25, 2025, led to Walker’s conviction on all three counts.
United States District Judge Lee P. Rudofsky handed down the sentence, which includes 300 months for the conspiracy and firearm possession charges, and an additional 60 months for the possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. Walker will also serve five years of supervised release following his prison term. The sentence marks a significant victory in the fight against methamphetamine trafficking in Arkansas.
