40-Year-Old Konawa Man, 36-Year-Old Seminole Woman Sentenced to Prison for Methamphetamine Conspiracy
MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – In a major blow to Oklahoma’s methamphetamine trade, a Konawa man and a Seminole woman have been sentenced to prison for their roles in a methamphetamine conspiracy.
Brodie Rope Booth, 40, of Konawa, Oklahoma, and Bobbi Nicole Thomas, 36, of Seminole, Oklahoma, were sentenced in federal court for their involvement in the distribution of methamphetamine.
According to court documents, Booth and Thomas conspired to distribute methamphetamine in the Eastern District of Oklahoma between June 2015 and July 2015. The charges arose from an investigation by multiple law enforcement agencies, including the McAlester Police Department, the District 18 District Attorney’s Drug Task Force, and the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics.
The investigation, which involved cooperation from the United States Marshal Service and the Drug Enforcement Administration, uncovered a sophisticated network of methamphetamine traffickers operating in the region.
On January 19, 2023, Booth was sentenced to 41 months imprisonment, followed by 3 years of supervised release. Thomas was sentenced to 24 months imprisonment, followed by 3 years of supervised release.
The Honorable James H. Payne, Chief Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, presided over the hearings. The defendants will remain in the custody of the United States Marshals Service pending transportation to the designated federal facility at which they will serve their nonparoleable sentences.
