Methamphetamine Ring Busted in New England

A 47-year-old New Hampshire woman was sentenced to 90 months in prison for her role in a methamphetamine conspiracy that spanned multiple states.

Corina Fall, 47, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge D. Brock Hornby in U.S. District Court in Portland, Maine, for conspiring to distribute over 500 grams of methamphetamine.

The investigation, which was led by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, revealed that Fall conspired with her husband and others to distribute methamphetamine in New Hampshire and Maine between March 2018 and February 2019.

In a significant turning point in the case, Fall and her husband were stopped by the Illinois State Police while transporting nearly a kilogram of methamphetamine back to New England from California. Law enforcement officers seized the methamphetamine during the traffic stop.

Further investigation led to multiple controlled purchases of methamphetamine from Fall and her co-conspirators. Fall was living in Rumford, Maine at the time.

The case was a collaborative effort between multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Rumford Police Department, the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, the New Hampshire State Police, the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Drug Task Force, the Carroll County (New Hampshire) Sheriff’s Office and the Illinois State Police.

Fall pleaded guilty to the charges on June 3, 2021, and was sentenced to five years of supervised release in addition to her prison sentence.

The sentencing marks a significant blow to organized crime in the region and serves as a warning to those involved in similar illicit activities.
