Harvey LaPointe, a 62-year-old man from Mission, South Dakota, is facing serious allegations after being indicted for Larceny by a federal grand jury.
According to sources, LaPointe was indicted on February 13, 2013, and appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Mark A. Moreno on February 27, 2013, where he pled not guilty to the indictment.
The maximum penalty for conviction is up to 5 years in custody, a $250,000 fine, or both; 3 years of supervised release; and a $100 Special Assessment. Restitution may also be ordered.
