Two Buffalo men were sentenced to prison for their roles in a crack cocaine distribution ring.
On January 17, 2014, Morrell Buster, 43, was found in possession of three grams of crack cocaine at the Niagara Outlet Mall in Niagara County, NY.
Between June 2013 and February 25, 2014, Buster and co-defendant William Jefferson, 46, purchased and distributed crack cocaine, according to Assistant U.S. Attorney Timothy C. Lynch.
Senior U.S. District Judge William M. Skretny sentenced Buster to 51 months in prison and Jefferson to 37 months in prison for their roles in the crack cocaine distribution ring.
The investigation was led by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, under the direction of Special Agent in Charge Adam S. Cohen, and the Lackawanna Police Department, under the direction of Chief James Michel.
