ORLANDO, FL – In a shocking turn of events, 34-year-old Nicholas Damion Paisley has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for his involvement in a cocaine trafficking ring in the Pine Hills area of Orlando.
According to court documents, Paisley, along with several accomplices, was distributing large quantities of cocaine, crack cocaine, and marijuana out of a residence in the Pine Hills area. On August 4, 2016, law enforcement officers arrested Paisley at the home and recovered four firearms, including an AK47-style assault rifle with a scope, collapsible stock, and an extended magazine.
The seizure also included significant amounts of distribution-grade crack cocaine, cocaine, and marijuana. This disturbing display of firepower and the sheer volume of illicit substances seized by law enforcement has raised eyebrows in the community.
U.S. District Judge Roy B. Dalton, Jr. handed down the 10-year sentence, taking into account Paisley’s guilty plea on November 18, 2016. Assistant United States Attorney Sean P. Shecter prosecuted the case, which was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration.
