A Lincoln woman has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for her role in a significant methamphetamine conspiracy in the Lincoln area.
Nicole Lynn Mount, 34, was sentenced on July 7, 2017, to 10 years (120 months) in prison for conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute a mixture or substance containing methamphetamine.
Following the prison term, Mount will serve five years on supervised release. This lengthy sentence is a direct result of the serious nature of Mount’s crime, which involved the distribution of at least 500 grams (approximately 18 ounces) of methamphetamine in the Lincoln area.
According to information provided to law enforcement, Mount was responsible for the distribution of methamphetamine between June of 2014 and July of 2016. In March of 2016, Mount and an associate were contacted by the Lincoln Police Department, and they were found in possession of a total of approximately 3 ⅔ ounces of methamphetamine.
The investigation into Mount’s activities was led by the Lincoln/Lancaster County Drug Task Force.
