North Carolina Man Guilty in Methamphetamine Conspiracy

A North Carolina man has been found guilty of a federal drug charge, following a guilty plea in a Charlottesville court.

Ramon Gabriel Jr. of North Carolina pleaded guilty today in the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia in Charlottesville to one count of conspiring to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute methamphetamine.

According to prosecutors, methamphetamine trafficking continues to be a growing threat throughout the Western District of Virginia. U.S. Attorney John P. Fishwick Jr. vowed to continue working with local, state, and federal partners to combat the issue.
