Anthony L. Turner, Distribution of Cocaine Base, West Virginia 2020

WHEELING, WEST VIRGINIA – A Toledo man has been sentenced to 51 months of incarceration for selling cocaine in Ohio County, West Virginia.

Anthony L. Turner, 44, pled guilty in March 2021 to one count of "Distribution of Cocaine Base." Turner admitted to selling cocaine base, also known as "crack cocaine," in September 2020 in Ohio County.

The investigation into Turner’s activities was led by the Ohio Valley Drug Task Force, a HIDTA-funded initiative. Assistant U.S. Attorney Shawn M. Adkins prosecuted the case on behalf of the government.

U.S. District Judge John Preston Bailey presided over the sentencing hearing, handing down the 51-month sentence to Turner.
