OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – In a shocking revelation, a federal jury has found Jeffrey Lemon, Jr., 30, from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, guilty on 17 counts of theft of mail matter by a postal service employee.
The verdict, handed down by the jury on Thursday, December 3, 2015, marks the culmination of an investigation by the United States Postal Service Office of Inspector General.
According to evidence presented at trial, Lemon, a former employee at the U.S. Post Office in Warr Acres, Oklahoma, stole money orders deposited in the mail by Postal Service customers and cashed them for his benefit between March 2015 and June 2015.
