Pablo Erick Quincosa-Cabrera, 42, Sentenced to 210 Months in Federal Prison for Methamphetamine Trafficking

A Dallas man has been sentenced to 210 months in federal prison for his role in a methamphetamine trafficking conspiracy.

U.S. District Judge Sidney A. Fitzwater handed down the sentence to Pablo Erick Quincosa-Cabrera, 42, of Dallas, Texas, on Friday, March 3, 2017. Quincosa-Cabrera had previously pleaded guilty in November 2016 to one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute a mixture and substance containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine.

According to documents filed in the case, Quincosa-Cabrera possessed with the intent to distribute or distributed half-kilogram to kilogram quantities of methamphetamine on five separate occasions between April 2016, and September 2016.

The investigation into Quincosa-Cabrera’s activities was a collaborative effort between the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Allen Police Department, the Garland Police Department, and the Rockwall Police Department.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Suzanna Etessam prosecuted the case, securing the guilty plea and subsequent sentence for Quincosa-Cabrera.

Quincosa-Cabrera’s sentence marks a significant blow to the methamphetamine trafficking ring he was involved in, and serves as a reminder of the serious consequences facing those who engage in such activities.

The sentence was handed down in the Northern District of Texas, with U.S. Attorney John Parker announcing the details of the case.
