Pennsylvania Heroin Pusher Gets 72-Month Sentence

MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA – It’s a tough break for Larry Stinson Jr., 34, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The man known to federal court as a heroin pusher has been sentenced to 72 months behind bars for his dirty deeds.

Stinson’s sentence came down today in federal court, where he was convicted on one count of ‘Aiding and Abetting Possession with the Intent to Distribute Heroin.’ The crime, a serious offense by any measure, took place in Berkeley County back in March 2016. Stinson entered his guilty plea in January 2017.

The prosecution was handled by Assistant U.S. Attorney Anna Z. Krasinski, who worked tirelessly on behalf of the government to secure this conviction. The investigation was a collaborative effort between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Eastern Panhandle Drug and Violent Crime Task Force, which is funded through the HIDTA initiative.

Presiding over Stinson’s fate was Chief U.S. District Judge Gina M. Groh, who has seen her fair share of justice served in federal court. For Stinson, there will be no appeal from this 72-month sentence, and his life as a free man is now behind bars.
